The Peter Calgaros are an esteemed line beginning with Peter I in the early 1900s, followed by Peter II in 1942. Peter III and Peter IV continue the tradition to this day in Madison, WI.

The Weekly World Cheese is a publication established by the Madison branch of the Calgaro family in 1995. This branch is a product of Sullivans, Noltes, and McBrides as well.

Many other Calgaros exist, a number of them under assumed names in northern Illinois.
